I am usually a loyal stick-to-the-registry type of person, but these are some Small Fry-approved ideas if you want to gift something special.

I think personalized wedding gifts can be tough to get right, but I love the look of these custom name plates. You can even choose between last names, a little floral illustration, or something completely custom for the design in the center.

When I got married, my best friends gifted us a custom set of these beautiful handblown wine glasses, and they are so special to me.

I know the swan version of this has been everywhere, but I prefer the fish.

Make something yourself
Take a class and make a gift! A couple of our friends made us gifts themselves, and they’re some of the most cherished (and used) things we own. Think: cutting boards, hand-carved utensils, etc.
Bonus: Etsy favorites
This idea is inspired by our realtor, who found my Etsy account and bought us champagne coupes from my favorites list. Not only was this incredibly thoughtful, but it’s a sneakily great way to gift something vintage that you know they’ll love. She gave them to us before we got married, so we even got to use them for a toast at our tiny backyard wedding. These are the same ones we have, but I also love these and these.
